At People Source USA, safety isn’t just a policy-it’s a priority. And during National Safety Month, we wanted to put that into action in a fun, meaningful way for our associates.
As temperatures climb across Texas and beyond, staying hydrated becomes one of the simplest (and most important) ways to prevent heat-related illness on the job. So, we launched a hydration challenge and raffle to encourage all of our team members to take their water breaks seriously-and share it with us.
🚰 Water Breaks = Safety Wins
We sent out a text blast inviting all associates to send in a photo of themselves drinking water during the workday. Each submission would earn them an entry into a $50 gift card raffle-because when you protect your health, you deserve to be rewarded.
What we didn’t expect? The amazing level of participation-especially from one standout associate who submitted six separate water break photos throughout the week!
👏 Shoutout to a Safety Star
This associate went above and beyond to show that he’s not just clocking in-he’s committed to staying safe and setting the standard for others. His enthusiasm, consistency, and follow-through are exactly the kind of behavior we love to see on-site.
While hydration might seem like a small thing, these are the habits that keep people healthy, productive, and able to finish the job strong.
🌡️ Safety Month Reminders
As we continue through National Safety Month, we’re reminding all our associates-and our clients-that:
- Heat safety is serious: Take breaks, hydrate regularly, and know the signs of heat exhaustion.
- Everyday habits add up: PPE, safe lifting, proper footwear, and hydration all play a role.
- Culture matters: A safe job site starts with leadership that cares-and workers who feel supported.
💙 Thank You to Our Teams
We’re proud of our associates for the work they do, and even more proud when they take their health and safety into their own hands. From Texas to Oklahoma and everywhere we staff, People Source is committed to showing up for our workforce-in every sense of the word.
Stay safe. Stay hydrated. Stay strong.
